Lead an Outing of Your Choice

Provide the information requested in the Trip Tic document below.

• Alternatively, if you know the person who updates the calendar then email the information to them.

1. A week or so ahead of your outing, send an email out to club members using our group email address which is: nptgroupnotes@googlegroups.com
2. Print out the Leader Checklist document below
3. Have all participants provide their name and phone number on the document
4. Non-members must sign a waiver. See the Waiver document below
5. Mail the completed Leader Checklist document with event highlights to the address on the Leader Checklist document below.

• Alternatively, if you know the person who posts the event highlights then email the information to them.

• Length of trail
• Weather concerns
• Trees down
• Faster than normal hill
• Sweepers
• Current
• Rock gardens ahead

• Plan for pairs or a buddy system
• Be aware of individual capabilities
• Be aware of group dynamics
• People who enhance the outing 
• People who might compromise the safety or enjoyment of the outing

1. Write a summary of highlights that were experienced on your outing to share with those who couldn't make it.
2. Take some pictures to share in newsletters or on the website
3. Mail this information to the address on the Leader Checklist document below.
